Compatibility mode on the Storm


Download an app on your Storm and have issues with the screen and/or keyboard?
Try disabling Compatibility Mode!

Applications that are compiled for OS4.6 and earlier will automatically be put into Compibility Mode when installed on the Storm.
Most applications do not need this turned on and actually make the application unusable.
Here's how to disable it:

Close the application in question.
Go to BlackBerry Options.
If using OS5.0, open Applications (if OS4.7 open Advanced Options then Applications)
Scroll to the Application and select it.
Hit the Menu button and then select Disable Compatibilty Mode.
Now it should look like this:

Exit and try the application again and the screen and keyboard should work!
